what i'm wearing:
H&M chevron striped jumper (only £5.99)
H&M flared midi skirt (similar here)
primark necklace (similar here)
primark bag (so old it hurts)
i think the idea of this outfit was better than the execution by the looking at the photos afterwards. it's a shame really as i do believe it looked a whole lot better in person, where here the jumper has made me look dumpy (is that a word?) and shapeless. that being said though, when you get a jumper for under £6 are you honestly going to complain if it isn't perfect? i most certainly will not. even if i never wear it outside the house again, it will be perfect as loungewear. they also have a variety of other prints for the same price too. one in particular that i loved was loads of bright bananas. not my usual choice i know, but something about it has made me want to go back and buy it; there is also a lovely grey and pink floral printed jumper too which i also like. anyway the star of this outfit is definitely the shoes, perfectly on trend for SS14. i can't to wear them again with more pastel pieces as i think they will look a million times better. they are the perfect height to wear without feeling the burn (you all know what i'm talking about here) so you won't have to worry about packing some flats just incase. the best thing is they don't break the bank either at only £35. i'll be keeping a close eye on mine as my nana has taken an interest in them; which basically means she'll try and nab them on the down-low when she thinks i'm not paying attention. i'm on to you maisie, just you wait and see. anyway i hope you like it, let me know your thoughts.
