products i'm loving

12/10/2013

can you believe these photos were taken at one o'clock this afternoon? no i don't think it looks like that either; this is with brightness and sharpness applied to the photograph too. obviously i know it isn't my fault but still it's disheartening when you can't get photos to come out the way you imagined. even so as it's horrible and rainy outside whilst i type this i suppose the photo fits in with that ambience. even so as i haven't done a beauty post in goodness knows how long i thought it was time to do one. i received the ORLY topcoat in my goodie bag from the midsummermeet months ago and i find everytime i remember to apply it when painting my nails, my polish stays on a whole lot longer. with the origins moisturiser when i first splurged as soon as it came out i won't lie, i hated it. it made my skin break out a ridiculous amount and i couldn't understand the hype with it. a few months on sticking to using it i've noticed it really does give my skin a boost on the morning and helps with the longevity of my foundation. for some reason every winter i buy liz earle's cleanse and polish. i have no idea why but i find it gives my skin just what it needs in a cleanser when it's becoming colder. 100% recommend. finally the last two were just on impulse visits to my local boots. the no7 primer was because they had buy one get one half price on offer, so naturally i bought this and the lavender one for sallow skin. i absolutely love them both and i think for £10.50 you aren't setting yourself back a great deal. the esteé lauder eye serum was a result of purchasing two items with them and you got a free gift of goodies worth £60, which included this. best idea ever; getting two christmas presents and a treat for myself. it's doing amazing stuff for my bags.

  5. I've been loving my Liz Earle cleanser as well recently. I like how full the bursts are when you have a new tube. The GinZing moisturiser I wasn't too sure about but after giving it another try recently, I've noticed some wonderful results. It smells great,

This photo does look nice though.

  7. I often have the same thing with the lighting, especially now that I live in the UK, haha. I've been considering purchasing more than one of the products above so this actually motivated me to add them to my to-buy list :D
