Products I'm Loving - Face

27/10/2013

products photographed:
don't you just hate it when you upload a photo onto here and it totally kills the quality from downsizing it? ah! it was such a good photograph too (cue: feeling sorry for myself). i'm quite enjoying that i've been including a beauty post into my schedule at least once each week so if you are too let me know and i'll do my best to make it a regular thing. or alternatively if there is anything else you would like to see let me know because i always want to get some feedback from you who reads my wee blog.

anyway, recently i was somehow drawn into buying esteé lauder double wear as a result of buying some christmas gifts for relatives and the sales assistant told me that if i bought a foundation i got a free gift worth £60; who would turn that down right? so at first i was adamant i was going to return it as i already own about five or six foundations now which are just sitting there and are all over the £20 mark, like this one. but of course i decided to start using the small sample she gave me and have now been reminded of how amazing it is on me when i used to own it about three years ago. darn. for £28 i won't lie it is on the pricey side but to me it's the base that is going onto your face so it needs to be good and breakout free. it's a full coverage foundation and i bloody love it and can't recommend it enough. i've always loved my mac mineralize skinfinish for setting my face and also it's all i need for touch ups during the day. again a hefty price tag at £22 but it lasts about three months working out at about £7 a month and it's the best powder for me.

what products are you wearing on your face? do you like them? let me know.

  2. i've wanted to try the mac mineralize skin finish for so long now, but i'm still wary of spending over £20 for it when my rimmel powder works just as well! xx

    1. I've tried Rimmel Stay Matte and I think MSF is on another level. This combination keeps my make up on all day, where Rimmel would just fall off my face after 2-3 hours. X
