product review - tangle teezer

04/02/2013

i'm really bad for brushing my hair. infact, i'm pretty lazy when it comes to my hair full stop. i always just do a quick blast to the hair, curl it, back comb and then put on hairspray. in hindsight this probably isn't the best for the condition of my hair but i have made a promise to myself that i will try a little harder with my hair maintenance. because of everything i do, it means when i do brush my hair it HURTS. so i usually put it off for as long as possible. whenever i would visit the hairdressers they would use tangle teezers and i loved how it never had a tugging effect on my scalp despite the knots. so naturally, i didnt pass on the opportunity to review one myself from lookfantastic. it detangles the hair whether wet or dry, giving it a shine and a smooth finish. no need for detangling spray any more. i love how they are the perfect size to fit into your palm so there's no handle to hold onto and its means because of the size is perfect to just pop into my bag and use throughout the day. i know £10-13 can be considered to be a little steep for a hairbrush but if you are willing toms lend that amount i couldn't recommend it enough. i've used mine everyday since getting it last week as i no longer dread having to brush my hair because of it causing me pain. this means my hair feels and looks a lot better, and most importantly, tidier! it couldn't be more perfect timing for me to have this as i'm going back blonde on thursday which means i have to be careful as the bleach can cause my hair to break and fall out. what do you think, are the tangle teezers worth investing in? or if you already own one do you love it as much as me? let me know.

i'm having a blog sale! i will be hoping to add a few more things over the next couple of weeks but please check it out.

  1. I'm the same as you. I'm really, really lazy with my hair. I dye it every few months and I recently 'ombre'd' it and haven't bothered to get it cut since! So it takes me at least 10 minutes to brush out my hair after I have washed it.. So tangly. This 'tangle tweezer' sounds good though. I probably should invest in it! Or at least get a hair cut...

  2. My friends use them and said they were so good but i never ever brush my hair because it's wavy.. but it's the odd time it's close to dreadlocks, haha! and i need to brush and it takes me hoursssssssssss to get the knots out and is so painful, so i might consider this!! x

  5. I've got the tangle teezer in pink. It's great for when it's windy or after backcombing because it doesn't pull at the hair or hurt. I literally swear by it, once you've used it, there's no going back

  15. I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to my hair, I just slap on abit of Moroccon oil whilst it's damp and dry it. I know it's bad to brush it whilst wet but it's just so convenient, maybe it's because I'm so lazy with my hair that I really can't see the hype in this product :(

  22. I love my Tangle Teaser, however I have to use a normal brush as well to get out the small knots, as I find the Tangle Teaser doesn't really pick up on them.
